• Pop-Up Culinary Experience

    This year’s pop-up culinary experience will be hosted by Brian and Tressie Caubarreaux at their home, Willow Oak Estate. The event will feature feature a curated menu prepared by a local chef with wine pairings. Limited seating available. Ticket sales are first come, first served.

  • Norma Roy Scholarship: Apply Today

    DEADLINE: MARCH 24, 2025

    Arts Council of Avoyelles, in coordination with the Norma Roy Scholarship fund, will award an Academic Scholarship to one selected graduating senior from either Avoyelles High School, Marksville High School, Bunkie High School, Avoyelles Public Charter School, LASAS or St. Joseph’s High School who is pursuing a degree in any avenue of the fine arts.

    Africans Americans and Labor

    The theme for our 2025 Black History Month exhibit is “African Americans and Labor,” touching on the invaluable contributions of African Americans in the workforce. On view now at the Gallery on the Square. For more information, contact the gallery at 318-264-1826.

  • Upcoming Exhibits

    We are pleased to host artist Amber Voorhies! Amber is a Resident Artist at River Oaks Square Arts Center in Alexandria, LA., where she is the Ceramics Instructor for River Oaks Arts Academy as well as an instructor for Summer Arts Studios. Amber draws inspiration for her paintings from her daughters’ love of horses, as well as from the landscape and heritage of her native Cajun culture.

    Meet our 2025 Miss Avoyelles Arts & Music Festival Queens!

    This year, we were thrilled to add the Teen Miss and Miss Avoyelles Arts & Music Festival titles to the competition. These competitions serve as a local preliminary to the Miss Louisiana Organization’s Miss Louisiana Teen and Miss Louisiana competitions allowing the titleholders to compete for Miss Louisiana Teen and Miss Louisiana in 2025.
